EVENT SUMMARY
This is one day course is designed to help you improve your own communication, model good communication to your clients and recognise your clients’ and peers’ individual styles.
You will learn more about your own preferences and any barriers you may have to communicating in the way you might wish to. You will also learn about the power of asking deep questions that help move your work forwards.
This will be a practical, experiential workshop including small group work, role-play and larger group discussion. You will have a chance to practise and develop your skills, which will benefit your practice immediately. These skills are immediately transferable and will make a difference in all your interactions.
Speaker - Jane McCann
Jane is a mediator, counsellor and family consultant. The core of her work is focused on helping couples and their families going through divorce and separation. She participates actively in working parties for Resolution and in a number of PODs as a committee member and delivering workshops.
