WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE PARTY?
Course Summary
This half day workshop is aimed at family lawyers and mediators of all ages and stages who would like to look afresh at the way they work. It will look at the skills that we need to turn us from good, competent lawyers and mediators into ones who have the chance to flourish, keep their clients happy and communicate with their peers in constructive ways. It will look at ways to acquire those skills.
The workshop will, by input and small group and experiential exercises, look at the human behind the lawyer/mediator and encourage a more reflective practice. The workshop is designed to be a taster for some of the day long workshops being run by FLiP Faculty but is a practical stand alone workshop in its own right.
It all starts with us. We cannot change others except by changing ourselves.
