Introduction
Karen describes herself as a peacemaker and a deal broker. Qualifying as a solicitor in 1988 she now practises exclusively as a mediator and parenting coordinator. As a Leading Individual in The Legal 500 she is said ‘to grasp issues quickly and provide considered and practical solutions; she is brilliant at minimising disputes’. Karen works hard to find workable solutions always putting the interests of children front and centre. A former director of Resolution and The Family Mediation Council Karen has been described as a 'trailblazer' and 'a giant in the world of dispute resolution'. In 2016 she was awarded the national Resolution John Cornwell award for her outstanding contribution towards helping separating families
